A FINE DAY

It was indeed a fine day—for a wedding! On August 12th, we joined Lynn and Brian to celebrate their daughter Heather's marriage to long-time beau Sasha. Although the clouds threatened rain earlier in the day, the outdoor ceremony and reception had perfect weather—no rain, no wilting heat, just a gentle August day in the beautiful surroundings of the gardens at Vicki's place.

Try as I might, I couldn't get a good picture of Sasha—he was very elusive...at least when it came to being somewhere you could actually get a picture of him that didn't have four or five other folks clustered around him! Nor did I manage a good picture of Heather and Sasha together. Ah well. So here's a picture of the bride, on her own, glowing in the happiness of her special day.
