BUTCHART GARDENS

Pups and people headed out into a rainy Saturday evening for a stroll through the dressed-up-for-Christmas Butchart Gardens. The Gardens welcome dogs year-round, so it's one of our favourite places to go. Alas, tonight was a little soggy, so we didn't even get a group picture (the dogs would have looked a little damp and bedraggled—hardly the most photogenic "Kodak Moment"). I think I need to go back and take some pictures when it's not raining!

As usual, we created a little bit of a stir as we made our way around the gardens. It's probably a little intimidating to some folks to see dogs coming en masse towards them along the pathway. Tonight there were nine people and 12 dogs in our little gang. The canine contingent included 2 Silkies, 6 Border Collies, 2 Norwich Terriers, a Golden Retriever and a Great Pyrennes/Irish Wolfhound X.

Abby and Zack step out in their best Christmas-Going-to-the-Gardens finery....

Does this coat make my nose look big??
