Join me as we have fun with our dogs, and then paddle along with the Dog Paddlers—a dragon boat team in Victoria, Canada. You'll meet my Silky Terriers—Abby, Zack, Sami and Gemma—and their feline sister, Bridget. SPOONING at SPOONER WAY

Peni and Jim welcomed friends and family to Spooner Way to help them celebrate their latest wedding anniversary (I believe she said it was their 29th!). It was a beautiful afternoon. Lots of just kicking back and relaxing. The dogs continued to play, full-tilt, keeping the momentum going from the morning's excursion to Witty's Lagoon.

One of the bonuses of visiting Peni and Jim is the chance to enjoy the view out over the Gulf Islands, and to wander through the spectacular gardens on the property. Abby, Zack and I took a meander through the grounds, looking for hidden treasures to photograph.
