DROPPING IN ON THE DOGS

I went out to the Saanich Fairgrounds today to visit a bit with a couple of the gals from up-island (Campbell River) who were down for a CKC event. Heather Somers was there to run Harta, her Border Terrier, in agility and other trials, and Wendy Wallace had her little Chinese Crested, Zeeba there as well. I had hoped to get some pitures of Harta running the agility course, but he got distracted and ran off-course after the first jump and Heather decided to withdraw him from that run. I had more luck with Zeeba (see below). I also ran into Susan Lewis, who was there to have her Standard Poodle, Tor, shown in comformation. Randy and Wendy (dragon boaters) also put in an appearance at one point. You never know who you will run into at a dog show! But that's it for my running around today. I'm beat.
