Yahoo! Abby and Zack now know how to swim. We went for a walk out to Beaver and Elk Lakes this morning, and stopped to let the dogs swim at one of the farther away, quieter beaches where the dogs are able to gradually wade in as opposed to having to launch themselves precipitously off the shoreline rocks. Peni took Abby and Zack out into some deeper water, and let them go to swim back into shore. Abby first, then Zack. Once Zack discovered he could swim, he was in the water chasing sticks and having a fine old time. Abby was a little bit more cautious, but was enjoying herself paddling around a little closer in.
