Welcome!

Join me as we have fun with our dogs, and then paddle along with the Dog Paddlers—a dragon boat team in Victoria, Canada. You'll meet my Silky Terriers—Abby, Zack, Sami and Gemma—and their feline sister, Bridget. Share with us the joys and challenges of strengthening the human-canine bond as we participate with our dogs in canine agility, trailwalks and canine freestyle.

NEWFIE KNIGHT

My fellow Rotarian, Stuart Lang, hosted a "Newfie Night" at his home as a fund raiser for our club's World Community Service project in Brazil. Stuart, who has lived in many places around the globe, originally hails from Newfoundland. He and his 'sous chefs' spent the afternoon preparing corned beef, mushy peas, cabbage and assorted root vegetables to give us all a taste of The Rock. He also cleaned the local liquor store out of their stash of Screech. All six bottles. As a result, a rolicking good time was had by all, as you can no doubt imagine!
