IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS

More snow on the way. Time to hunker down again.

Took some time out this morning and wandered around the back yard looking for some interesting things to take pictures of while the dogs were busy running around through their labyrinth of snow paths (soon to become even more canyon-like than they are already).

Finding joy and art in the small things is a great way to discover your world. Even if it shows that you never got around to completely putting the back yard to bed...as witnessed by the fact that there were still roses on stems sticking out from the snowdrifts. The brightest spot of all is, of course, the berries hanging from the various shrubs—a valuable source of food for birds at the moment.
