ZIPPING

We were out to Adrenaline again today. The ziplining place. I had mentioned this place to my cousin Laurie when I saw her in Ottawa in June, and since she was out visiting us this week, we decided to take a run out there and have a go at it. Peni also thought it was time for another zip for her, so all of us headed out there on Sunday afternoon.

Lots of glorious sunshine, not too hot, a little breeze. Perfect day. Laurie had done some ziplining before, back east, but it was a bit different set-up out here, and the runs much higher and longer here. Laurie said she had jelly knees the entire time, but she looked cool as a cucumber to me. And she had a big smile on her face all the while...so I think she had a pretty great time, all told (although she confessed to uttering some four-letter words now and again as she zipped along; we'll just consider those entreaties and/or thanks to a higher power for the the day's adventure).

Wheeeeeeee!

Thank you for a most fantastic time! I feel 10 years (at least!) younger for having done this with you & Peni, and little but hugely brave Grace. What a glorious day :-)

Much love from Cousin (a.k.a. "Ziplining") Laurie

p.s. I found your key. It will be in the mail shortly! (This is what happens when one packs up at midnight after a rather strong lemon-drop martinus!)
