THREE AMIGOS SIESTA
No trails to walk; all the indoor toys played with; nothing good on television. Guess we might as well just curl up on the sofa for a snooze.

I'd like to come and play with you! I'm being looked after by your Cousin in the East, and after all the fun of my whole (7 boisterous people) family being home for Christmas being with her is ultra-quiet and somewhat boring.
It's too cold for my English Cocker Spaniel ears and nose to run in the park--heck! I come in from inspecting my yard perimeter shivering like a leaf!
-25C is no fun when you don't have a down coat, sorels, YAKTRAKS to keep you from slipping on the ice, and hot chocolate with Triple Sec when you get home!
So, I sleep in the sun, get my tummy rubbed LOTS, and wait for My People to come home. Sigh! Wish I was with you so we could play!
