GONE TO THE DOGS ON CANADA DAY

Peni sent along these pictures from her Canada Day activities. She walked (and Jim ran) the HBC Canada Day 10k. Hana, Betty and Switch looked very spiffy (and patriotic) in their maple leaf red-and-white bandanas. [Shhhh. We won't tell them that they were actually born south of the border. Maybe we should have a little citizenship ceremony for them some day....maybe on BC Day in August? We could celebrate the BC 150 with a little party for them. Of course, Peni would have to clicker-train them to do some "Canadian" tricks to pass their citizenship tests! :-) ]

Peni also met these two cute characters—Lola and Shilo—waiting for their dad to finish running the 10k. Apparently they are prospective agility students, which will up the "cute little dogs" contingent at Island Dog Sports for sure.
